AI Readiness · Agentic Commerce

Your next customer isn't a person. It's their AI.

People are starting to shop through AI assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google. When they do, an AI agent visits your store instead of a person — and most online stores are invisible to it. We make yours ready.

01 · The shift

What is agentic commerce?

Agentic commerce is shopping done by AI agents on a person’s behalf. Instead of browsing ten stores, a shopper asks their AI assistant — and it finds products, compares stores, checks stock, delivery and return terms, and completes the purchase.

For your store, the visitor deciding whether to buy is increasingly a piece of software. Software doesn’t scroll, squint at photos, or give the benefit of the doubt. It reads what your store publishes. If it can’t read something, for the agent that thing doesn’t exist.

02 · Why SEO isn't enough

Being mentioned by AI is marketing. Being buyable by AI is revenue.

Search asked one question: who ranks? AI shopping asks a harder one: who can I buy from, right now, with confidence? SEO and its new coat of paint, AEO, answer the first. They get your store talked about. Agentic readiness answers the second: it makes your store the one an agent can actually complete a purchase from — verified identity, quotable return and shipping terms, a checkout it can drive.

03 · What "ready" actually means

Getting AI-ready isn't one switch. It's five layers.

Every layer is a question an AI agent silently asks about your store. Answer all five and agents can find you, trust you and buy from you. Fail one and everything above it stops mattering — a store that can't be trusted doesn't get to be bought from.

1

Can AI find your store?

Crawler permissions, sitemaps, a secure connection — the front door. Most stores pass, often by accident.

2

Can it read your products?

Prices, stock, images and descriptions in machine-readable form, not just pixels a human can see.

3

Can it trust who you are?

A verified store identity an agent can check — the difference between a store and a storefront-shaped page.

4

Can it actually buy?

Return and shipping terms an agent can quote before purchasing, payment it can use, a checkout it can complete.

5

Will it still work next month?

Standards are evolving monthly. Monitoring and re-checks keep a ready store ready.

04 · The free audit

One audit. A grade you can act on.

We run the audit on your live store — not a questionnaire — and check all five layers. You get a graded report from A to F, and every gap named in plain English with its fix and its owner.

Things you can change today, things we fix in an engagement, and things that become automatic once your store is connected. No jargon wall, no scare chart — a to-do list, ranked by revenue impact.

05 · The service

The SEO budget has a
successor. It's called ACO™.

For over a decade, being found meant an SEO budget. Now the buyer is an AI agent, and being bought from needs its own discipline: Agentic Commerce Orchestration. Logic Rays runs it for you as a managed service. A dedicated, Goofre™-certified Agentic Commerce Orchestrator™ (ACO™) is assigned to your store and keeps it ready as the standard keeps moving.

Then · the search era

You bought an SEO budget.

Now · the agent era

You engage an ACO™.

A dedicated ACO™ assigned to your store

A Goofre™-certified Agentic Commerce Orchestrator™ who owns your readiness. One accountable person, not a ticket queue.

A full readiness audit and graded report

Your baseline across all five layers, with every gap named in plain English, its fix, and who owns it.

Weekly readiness reports

Your score, what changed on your store, what we fixed, and exactly what an agent sees this week.

Bi-weekly working sessions

A standing call with your ACO™ to review progress and what is shifting across agentic commerce.

Continuous orchestration against the roadmap

As agents, platforms and standards move, your ACO™ keeps you ahead. You stay ready, not catching up.

The target keeps moving. So does the service.

Agentic commerce is being rewritten in real time: new agents, new checkout rails, new trust signals every quarter. Goofre™ and Logic Rays build against that roadmap continuously, so the work your store gets today is what the next wave of agents will reward.

06 · The standards

Built to the standards
agents actually use.

Agentic commerce isn't a Logic Rays opinion. It runs on open standards the largest AI and payment companies are shipping right now, and your readiness is measured against them, layer by layer. This is the vocabulary the agency readying your store should be fluent in.

UCP

Universal Commerce Protocol

Google + Shopify · adopted by Walmart, Target, Etsy

How your store tells AI agents what it can do, in a manifest they read automatically. The standard that covers the whole journey, from being discovered to completing the sale.

All 5 layers · discovery to purchase

ACP

Agentic Commerce Protocol

OpenAI + Stripe

The open standard for how an AI agent moves from your product feed to a completed purchase, without a human ever touching your site.

Layer 4 · Transactability

AP2

Agent Payments Protocol

Google + 60+ payment networks

How an agent proves it was authorised to pay, so your store can safely trust a purchase a machine started on a shopper's behalf.

Layer 3 · Identity & trust

MCP

Model Context Protocol

Anthropic · the “USB-C for AI”

How an agent reaches and reads your store's data and tools in the first place, cleanly and reliably, instead of guessing.

Layers 1–2 · Access & comprehension

About Goofre™ →

We co-built the technology to solve this. We didn't just buy a tool.

Goofre™ is the readiness engine that measures your store against these standards and the structured-data foundations beneath them, then grades the gaps. Logic Rays does the work to close them. Because we co-engineered Goofre™, the team readying your store is the same team building the standard it is measured against — a claim no agency reselling someone else’s plugin can make.

07 · Questions merchants ask

The honest answers,
before you book.

What is agentic commerce?

Agentic commerce is shopping done by AI agents on a person’s behalf. Instead of browsing stores, a shopper asks an AI assistant, and it finds products, compares stores, checks stock, delivery and return terms, and completes the purchase. For a merchant, the visitor deciding whether to buy is increasingly a piece of software acting for a human.

The AI crawlers are already on your store. GPTBot, PerplexityBot and Google’s AI crawlers visit ecommerce sites today, and AI assistants already recommend specific products and stores. The stores that are readable and trustworthy now are the ones agents learn to recommend first. The audit is free, so the cost of knowing where you stand is zero.

SEO and answer-engine optimisation get your store mentioned by AI. Agentic readiness gets your store bought from. Being mentioned is the first two layers of a five-layer problem; an agent that finds you but cannot verify your identity, read your return terms or complete your checkout recommends a competitor it can. Most stores we audit are strong on visibility and empty on buyability.

No. The work happens on your existing Magento store: the Goofre™ storefront module, configuration, and targeted fixes from the audit’s gap list. Your theme, catalog and checkout stay yours. A typical readiness engagement is a fixed-scope project measured in weeks, not a re-platform measured in quarters.

We audit your live store across five layers and hand you a graded A to F report: every gap named in plain English, with its fix and who owns it. What happens next is your call. Many merchants take the report and fix things internally. Others engage our Agentic Commerce Orchestration service: a dedicated, Goofre™-certified ACO™ assigned to your store, weekly readiness reports, bi-weekly working sessions, and continuous orchestration as the standard shifts. There is no obligation either way.

Because we co-build the platform. Goofre™, the audit standard and the storefront module behind this service, is a product we are building together with an innovative Canadian product team, on top of more than a decade of building Magento stores. Your current agency would be reselling a tool. We ship it.

The open standards the market is actually converging on: the Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP) from Google and Shopify, the full-lifecycle standard your store publishes a manifest for and the one we measure most directly; the Agentic Commerce Protocol (ACP) from OpenAI and Stripe, for the feed-to-checkout handoff; the Agent Payments Protocol (AP2) from Google and 60+ payment networks, for trusted machine-initiated payments; and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) from Anthropic, for how agents access store data. Goofre™’s readiness engine measures your store against these standards and the structured-data foundations beneath them, so your readiness is held to a public bar, not our opinion.
